Homemade Frothed Hot Chocolate

This is the easiest Hot Chocolate recipe. You’ll never want to use packaged Hot Chocolate again!

Recipe

  • 1/2 Cup of Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup of Hershey’s Cocoa Powder
  • 4 Cups of Milk (milk substitute such as Almond or Oat Milk)
  • 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Cup of Hot Water
  • Crushed Peppermint Candy (optional)
  • Marshmallows (optional)
  • Cinnamon (optional)

In a medium sized sauce pan, add the sugar & cocoa. Add in the water and bring to a boil. Be sure to stir constantly as the mixture is boiling. Boil for about 2 minutes and then reduce the heat to low.

Next, add the milk and stir. Turn the heat back up enough to warm the milk mixture, but do not boil. Add the vanilla. For froth, continuously whisk mixture as it warms up until foamy.

Serve in your favorite mug and garnish with Marshmallows, cinnamon, and crushed peppermint candy, if you’re fancy. Enjoy!

  • 1 half cup of blueberries

  • lemon juice from half lemon
  • 1 handful of spinach or kale
  • Almond milk or by product of your choice

Juice 2: Mean Green

  • 1 hand full of kale
  • 1 or 1/2 lemon peeled
  • Half of cucumber
  • One large or 2 small green apples
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 or 2 celery stalks (remove leaves)

Juice 3: Cozy Detox Tea

  • 2 bags of green tea
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder or boiled turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder or boiled ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar

Juice 4: Orange Sicle

  • 2-3 large oranges peeled
  • 2 large or 3 medium sized carrots
  • 1/2 cup of pineapples
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder or 1/2 of small turmeric root
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
